Q.
The webcam isn't moving!
A. The webcam is not live video, a picture is taken every 60
seconds and then uploaded to the site automatically. If the picture is not updating,
it is probably offline as it is turned off at night.
Q. The
webcam isn't loading properly!
A. You will need a browser which supports JavaScript to view
the webcam, if your browser does support JavaScript then the webcam may have
been in the process of uploading when you clicked the link. Close the window,
refresh the page and try again.
Q. Some
of the archived pictures at the bottom of the page do not load properly!
A. This is a known problem and will be fixed when noticed.
Q. All
I see when I click the webcam is white!
A. When the sun shines brightly, the webcam does not seem to
change the exposure (even though it is set to automatic) if the problem is noticed,
the exposure will be changed manually.
Q. All
I see when I click the webcam is black!
A. It may be dark and the exposure is too low and the back
light is off. If so, the webcam's settings will either be changed manually or
the webcam will be turned off.
Q. Nothing's
happening!
A. When building starts to take place on the roof, there will
be a whole lot happening. Try again in a week or two.
Q. The
main page is all squashed and looks like it was designed by a penguin!
A. This page is designed for use with the latest version of
Microsoft Internet Explorer with the resolution set at 1024 by 768 pixels. Different
browsers and resolutions can change how the page looks and what you see may
not be what the designer intended.
Q. It
may sound like a stupid question, but what is THE BUILD?
A. It could be described as a new online reality show where
we follow the ups and downs of an extension being built.
Q. This
site is amazing! What programmes did you use to create such a masterpiece?
A. Macromedia Dreamweaver MX for the page design, CoffeeCup
Webcam for the live webcam, Serif DrawPlus to create the background (available
free), CoffeeCup Thumbnail Factory for the Thumbnails of the photos in the
download section (available free)
and Blogger for the news section.
